To activate the water pump and the continuous drainage, the Air Conditioner should be set to dehumidifying mode so the water can run through the water hose.

When set in heating/cooling mode, the continuous drainage isn’t available, so you won't be able to activate heating/cooling and drainage at the same time.

When your Air Conditioner is set in heating mode, it will collect water so you will need to empty the water tank manually once it is full.
