My Dehumidifier is not collecting that much waterUpdated 10 months ago
If your Dehumidifier is not collecting much water, there could be several reasons for this issue.
Here are some steps to help diagnose and potentially resolve the problem:
- Make sure that the Dehumidifier is set to a humidity level that is appropriate for the current conditions. If the humidity in the room is already low, the Dehumidifier may not collect much water.
- Ensure that the Dehumidifier is appropriately sized for the room it is placed in. If it's too small for the area's size or humidity levels, it may not be effective in removing excess moisture.
- A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict airflow and reduce the Dehumidifier's efficiency. Please make sure to clean the filter as per instruction manual.
- Dehumidifiers are generally less effective in colder temperatures. Make sure the room temperature is within the recommended operating range for your Dehumidifier.
- If the relative humidity is only slightly above the set level, the Dehumidifier may need more time to operate before it starts collecting a significant amount of water. Let it run continuously for a while.
Our Dehumidifiers are tested continuously under prime conditions, therefore, there may be a discrepancy on how much water your dehumidifier collects in 24 hours, based on the environment it’s placed in.
