Why is my Fan louder than expected?Updated a year ago

If your Fan is making a strong crunching sound, it's likely that it has not been assembled correctly and is struggling to oscillate. Please unplug your Fan, remove the base, ensure it has been attached correctly, and then reassemble the Fan. This should stop the noise.

Please also be aware that Fans do make a small amount of noise during normal usage. Please check the product specifications for your fan to review the decibel rating to ensure the noise you're hearing isn't out of the ordinary.
