We recommended cleaning the filter with a vacuum cleaner once a month and replacing the filter every 6 to 12 months, or after 2,000 hours of use. After 2,000 hours of use, the filter indicator light will flash and beep as a reminder to replace the filter. You may need to replace the filter earlier depending on the environment of the room.

1. Shut down the appliance and turn the power off. 
2. Open the filter cover by lightly pulling the handle.
3. Remove the filter by pulling out the tab at the top of the filter. We recommend
   that you have a bag ready to prevent the pollutants on the filter falling back into
   the room.
4. Insert the new filter and re-attach the door cover.
5. Press and hold the "UV" and "timer" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds after you have replaced the filter.
