How do I clean EasyFreezy after use?
EasyFreezy includes a dedicated cleaning mode.
After each use:
- Dispense any remaining mixture.
- Fill the tub with clean water without exceeding the MAX line.
- Use the Mode button to select Clean.
- Run the cleaning cycle to rinse the internal components.
- Dispense the remaining water.
Turn off and unplug EasyFreezy before carrying out any further cleaning.
How do I deep clean EasyFreezy?
Turn off and unplug EasyFreezy and allow the removable parts to return to room temperature.
Disassemble the tub and wash the removable components thoroughly in warm, soapy water.
- Remove and wash the mixing paddle.
- Remove and hand wash the top and bottom seals.
- Wash the removable tub components.
- Wipe the cooling cylinder with a damp cloth.
- Rinse removable parts thoroughly.
- Allow everything to dry completely before reassembly.
Never immerse the main EasyFreezy unit in water.
Don’t use abrasive cleaners, corrosive cleaners or scouring pads.
Do I need to clean EasyFreezy after every use?
Yes.
Empty and clean the tub after each use. Leaving liquid or standing water inside can encourage mould and bacterial growth.
The top seal, bottom seal and mixing paddle should also be removed and cleaned regularly as part of a thorough clean.
Where should I position EasyFreezy?
Place EasyFreezy upright on a flat, stable and dry surface.
Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed and allow sufficient space around the machine for ventilation. The instruction manual specifies a minimum clearance of 50 cm around all sides.
Keep the appliance away from direct sunlight, ovens, heaters and other heat or ignition sources.
Can I put hot ingredients into EasyFreezy?
No.
Do not add hot liquids or hot ingredients to the tub. Hot contents can create steam and pressure inside the machine and may present a burn risk.
Allow your ingredients to cool before adding them.
How long should I wait before using EasyFreezy again?
Avoid repeatedly starting and stopping the machine.
Allow at least 3 minutes between uses to help protect the cooling system.
