If you can hear a rattling sound sort of like something moving in your heater, you are hearing the sound of the Tip Over Switch. This will happen if the heater is moved or carried to another location. The switch works on a mechanism that turns off the heater in the event it falls over, preventing a fire. You should hear it move and there is nothing to worry about.
